Day #2 Review...

Sorry I haven't been doing many blogs... written or video, I've been so busy here with the Conference that I just haven't had the time to actually sit down and get it done. Now that I'm all ready for bed, I figured I would do a written blog before I go to sleep.

Today we learned SO much. Sooooo many videos in so little time! The exhibits opened up today... I got to see Betaserons newest Auto-Injector that the MS Patient Voice went in to the thought process of making the Auto-Injector for Betaseron.

I got to try on the WalkAide, it's in the day#2 videos for the CMSC Coverage:

Also, in the beginning of Day #2 at CMSC, we started it off with Dr. Jack Burks answering some of the questions that the MSWorld Members submitted! Very interesting to hear two neurologists opinions about the questions that are asked.

CMSC isn't just about "late breaking MS news" but it's also educational for everyone involved. We're hearing more and more about topics we heard at previous meetings, like AAN.

Tomorrow we will return to the exhibit hall & I will be trying on MORE MS products...

Tomorrow evening I will be meeting up with CLAY WALKER! Clay Walker is a Famous County Music Singer and also has MS, and has an organization called Bang Against MS:
http://www.bandagainstms.org/

It's not too late to ask you questions... remember any questions that aren't asked at this conference, will be asked at the following conference.

I will have more information tomorrow after I get to see the WHOLE exhibit! Hopefully we can do some Poster Sessions tomorrow as well.

What did you find most interesting so far from the CMSC Coverage?

Will catch up tomorrow. I hope you are enjoying the videos we are providing.

Thanks!
Ashley

On the way!!

Well I'm sitting in traffic on the way to the airport... Gotta love Austin traffic!
I could barely sleep last night because I kept making sure I had everything I needed!

So hopefully I didn't forget anything and hopefully my fatigue meds will help me make it through the day!

So far I have 7 questions to ask at this meeting, so keep them coming. If you asked a question for AAN and it wasn't addressed, it's on my list for this meeting. And if you have any comments or suggestions let me know about them.

I really hope there is some info on the drugs that are in the process or soon to be process of approval with the FDA! What do you think is most promising so far??

What dis you think about the answer we got at AAN about stem cell therapy?

All the questions that I asked were answered on Day Five of AAN:

I will check in later today or tomorrow!

Getting Ready for CMSC

Well, it seems as if I was just in New Orleans for the AAN Meeting & now it's already time to head to San Diego for the CMSC Meeting! The AAN Meeting was all things neurological, where as, CMSC is a Multiple Sclerosis Meeting.

Keep sending in your questions you would like to have me try and get answered by neurologists at the CMSC Conference! You can leave a comment on my blog with a question, or e-mail them to QandA@msworld.org

Well, I've ben preparing for this meeting all month, and I have some exciting news to share! I will be meeting CLAY WALKER! If you don't know who Clay Walker is, shame on you! haha Just Kidding! Clay Walker is a Country Music Artist, who also has MS. He has an organization called B.A.M.S ( Band Against MS). http://www.bandagainstms.org/

So, I look forward to that. Also, my neurologist, Dr. Fox... will be speaking about Social Security Disability and MS! This conference is going to be full of news and research about MS!

"The goal of the Annual Meeting of the CMSC is to provide MS healthcare professionals with the most up-to-date information impacting care in the areas of:

If you want to know more about the CMSC Annual Meeting you can go to: http://annualmeeting.mscare.org/

Also, if you have any ideas of what you would like MSWorld to do at these conference, please let me know. I will be trying to do some more "Patient to Doctor Interviews" but it just depends on what's going on.

I will also be doing the video blog again, I hope y'all like that too.

I've been going through all of my media things over and over again, to make sure I have it all ready. I'm looking forward to learning more and more about MS from this conference! (I'm also looking forward to the cooler weather, Texas is getting too hot for my MS)

And remember to stay tuned to the CMSC Section in the Conference Center: http://conferencecenter.msworld.org/cmsc-2012-annual-meeting
